How Credits Work

Understanding how Dizest: AI Summarizer calculates and uses credits

Variable Credit System

Credit costs vary based on the AI model used and the amount of text processed. Different operations and services have different credit requirements to reflect their computational costs.

How Credits Are Calculated

Dizest: AI Summarizer uses a variable credit system that reflects the actual computational costs of processing your content. The number of credits required for each operation depends on two primary factors:

Primary Cost Factors

  • AI Model Used: Different AI models have different capabilities and costs. More advanced models that provide higher quality summaries require more credits.
  • Text Volume: The amount of text processed affects credit usage. This includes both the input content (what you provide) and the output content (the summary generated). Longer documents and more detailed summaries require more credits.

Because these factors vary with each request, the exact credit cost is calculated dynamically and displayed before you execute a prompt, allowing you to make informed decisions about your usage.

Special Operations & External Services

Some operations rely on external service providers and incur additional costs beyond standard text processing. These operations require higher credit amounts to cover the associated expenses.

YouTube Transcript Processing

Processing YouTube videos requires obtaining transcripts through external providers, which incurs significant costs. As a result, YouTube transcript operations are charged 10 credits in addition to the standard processing costs.

For frequent YouTube summarization: We recommend subscribing to a paid plan to get better value and ensure you have sufficient credits for your needs. Paid plans provide more credits at a better rate, making them ideal for users who regularly summarize video content.

Other external services may also incur additional credit costs. The total credit requirement for any operation is always displayed upfront before execution.

Pricing & Credit Costs

Credit costs and pricing are subject to change as we continuously optimize our service and respond to changes in underlying AI model costs and external service pricing.

Different AI models and services have different cost structures. As new models become available or existing models are updated, credit requirements may be adjusted to reflect their actual computational costs.

We strive to provide transparent pricing and will always display the credit cost before you execute any operation, ensuring you can make informed decisions about your usage.

Managing Your Credits

You can monitor your credit balance and usage at any time within the Dizest: AI Summarizer app. The app displays:

  • Your current credit balance
  • The estimated credit cost before executing each prompt
  • Your usage history and credit consumption patterns

If you need more credits, you can upgrade your plan or purchase additional credits directly from the app's subscription management screen.
